Do you have experience working in a laboratory and are you interested in the automotive industry? We are looking for a reliable and meticulous lab technician who will be involved in the testing and examination of materials, parts and components used in the automotive industry.
What will be your job description?
- Physical, mechanical and chemical testing of materials and automotive components according to established standards (strength, hardness, wear resistance, etc.).
- Set up, calibrate and regularly maintain laboratory instruments and equipment to meet safety and technical standards.
- Collecting, analyzing data and creating reports for development and production teams.
- Interpretation of test results and their evaluation.
- Collaborating on testing new materials and parts, providing feedback on component quality and performance, and contributing to technical recommendations.
- Compliance with internal and external quality and safety standards (ISO, DIN, ASTM and other automotive standards).
What knowledge and skills should you have?
- Experience working in a laboratory, ideally in an automotive or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of laboratory methods and working with testing equipment.
- Ability to operate laboratory instruments and read technical documentation.
- Knowledge of working with data software (MS Excel, laboratory information systems).
- Diligence, accuracy and the ability to solve problems effectively.
