November 2024 - the eleventh month of NOBO Auto

Hello everyone! I am reporting with another monthly dose of experiences from building NOBO AUTO in České Budějovice. November was a busy month and I'm happy to share the highlights with you.
Moving furniture to the new hall
The first thing that got me personally excited was the "big move" - furniture from the parent company NOBO - GWM in Germany came to us. And you know what? It was great to see how everyone - from the management to the HR team to the new colleagues from China - worked together to make the empty offices a pleasant place to work. No managerial ranks, everyone in the same boat - that's exactly how I envision the company culture we're building!
AI Leadership Masterclass
I also decided not to rest on my laurels and continue to push myself in digital skills. On the recommendation of Kamil Vrkoč I'm currently going through the fall AI Leadership Masterclass from Filip Drimalka. I have to say - it's absolutely top notch! No dry theory, but the acquired sharing of practical experience from participants from different industries - healthcare, agriculture, retail, services, startups, automotive... In addition to the insights from the November AI Bootcamp... This gives us a great basis for further digitalization of our processes. Who among you is already experimenting with AI in HR? What are your experiences?
HR system
I am very happy with our HR system. I want to send a special appreciation towards Tereza Škrdlováwho has only been with us since September, fresh out of school, and yet she handles the whole implementation completely independently. She has trained users, managers and works with the system like a pro. This is exactly the kind of drive we appreciate!
Cooperation with local schools
In the area of cooperation with schools, we also have great news - as I wrote in a separate post - we have signed a framework agreement with the University of South Bohemia and we are starting negotiations with the SPŠSE in Dukelská Street and also with VŠTE. I believe that this is the way to attract young talents and give them a chance to grow with us from the ground up.
HR team
And finally, I'd like to introduce our HR team - but look at us in the Christmas photo with our new corporate clothing. We're standing by the Christmas tree wearing the new jackets we got last week along with the work clothes for the whole company.

On the left is Allenwho is in charge of the most challenging part of communication with our Chinese headquarters. He is an incredibly strong man - he came here from China alone, while his wife and six-year-old son stayed at home. Every rule, directive or new process he has to explain and enforce with his colleagues in China - and believe me, it's not always a cakewalk. But thanks to his patience and persistence, we have been able to gradually set up all the necessary processes. He has my great admiration - it takes courage to sacrifice so much for the future well-being of your family.
I'm standing next to him, and then there's Daniela Víznerová RACRwho's in charge of recruitment for us. And I have to say that she is really good at it - this month she managed to fill several key positions. She has an incredible eye for detail and most importantly - she knows how to find the right people who will fit in with our team. And she does it all like a mom of three! When I see how she manages her family, her children's school commitments, their clubs, their illnesses and manages to move our recruitment forward, I am amazed.
Rounding out the team is our newest team member Tereza Škrdlová. Really? He's breaking down all the generational stereotypes we hear today. Since September, when she joined us, she has thrown herself into her work with such enthusiasm that she is already independently managing not only the routine administrative support for all employees, but also the entire implementation of the new HR system. What am I most excited about? Her openness to feedbacks and her relentless desire to push herself further. You really don't see that very often these days.
Looking at this photo, I'm really proud of what we've accomplished as a team in such a short time. Each of us brings something unique to the table and together we are a team that is moving NOBO AUTO forward.
And one more thing - for almost a year now I have been writing here about how we are building NOBO AUTO from the ground up. But honestly? We wouldn't be where we are without the people in this picture. It may be my blog, but most of the success and progress I write about every month is due to this great team. I'm just writing it up into stories.
See you next month, folks! And if you want to be part of our story, feel free to message me. Well, if you're lucky, maybe next time you'll be in the team photo.
PS: Do you like our approach to building a business? Like or share to let others know about it.
