Since March, the number of employees of our company has grown by 3 more members, we have a new general manager Robert Maška and also Ondřej Koněvalík responsible for quality. This is how we welcomed them to our company last Friday with the support of our colleagues from China.

After the General Manager came on board, we defined together the first positions that we will have to fill during the construction of our plant and as promised, I am writing here some basic information about all the positions.

What is common to all of the positions below is that we are looking for someone who doesn't mind that all processes are not yet clearly set up. On the contrary, we are creating everything from scratch and I personally see this as a great opportunity to use the good things from previous companies I have worked for. And what I see as an even bigger advantage is that I don't have to implement things that I had to do in the past but didn't find completely meaningful.

Now, about those positions...

Production manager

• we are looking for a person who will take the position of production manager
• we expect him to talk Czech and English
• the ideal candidate has experience with automotive seating and BMW customer. Automotive experience is absolutely essential.
• the production line will be partially moved to Budějovice from China. Production manager will definitely be in the next months to China travel repeatedlyto ensure a smooth transfer to Bohemia.

Facility / Maintenance manager

• we're looking for someone who has experience with construction and approval larger building for manufacturing/automotive/possibly logistics center
• in the future, maintenance management will also be the responsibility of this manager
• We are looking for someone who knows MES, Siemens, PLC systems, and has installed and started up production lines in the past, again, in an ideal world for seats
• we need this person to speak Czech and English. Knowledge of German and the ability to present construction progress to the BMW customer will be an advantage

Tax account / deputy plant controller

• the manager of the finance department at the moment is a colleague from China who does not know the Czech environment
• that is why we are looking for his right hand man, someone who knows the Czech tax system well, is not afraid to communicate in English and has ambitions to develop further within the company in the future, even as a financial manager

Executive assistant / purchasing coordinator

• We are looking for a right hand General Manager for our plant
• And the best thing at the end - with the start of the race in Budejovice there are a lot of new things. For NOBO this is the first chairlift race in Europe and the first greenfield. We already know that we will have many colleagues from China coming to help us with organizational things - housing, cars, etc.
• At the same time, there are many documents and guidelines that are written only in Chinese and will need to be translated and implemented here in the Czech Republic.
• At the moment we are also dealing with a large number of small suppliers for all kinds of non-production services - cleaning, garbage collection, office equipment, etc.
• We would currently like to combine all these activities into one position, the ideal candidate for us is one who can speak Czech, English and Chinese
• Knowledge of MS Office, common sense, organizational skills and ideally experience with the purchasing process in manufacturing / automotive companies (quotation, order, contract, invoice, work in dedicated systems, etc.)
